I posted already, but wanted to get more input on the Christmas Tree issue and SPhynx kitties.

My cornish ignores the Tree, my Sphynx kitten is 7 months almost and a MONSTER Cat , into everything !! I love him even more for it, BUT i am worried about a christmas tree. I have a fake one with lights about 6 feet tall , but my bulbs are all glass .
I am worried to put a Tree up.

What does Your Sphynx do with the Tree ????

We had so many of the same concerns last year that we got a little 15 inch tall animated tree that sat on the mantle. Our 6-foot tree and most of the irreplaceable ornaments stayed packed away, so Cleopatra never saw them. This year, she is 20 months old and still getting into everything (sigh). :Shok:We may put up the big tree, but it will sit for a few days before the ornaments go on to see how she behaves. The really fragile ornaments may stay packed again. But we still have that silly animated tree!

We stopped putting up our tree because it always ended up on the floor and the ornaments became toys. I would much rather have my cats alive and healthy then a tree:Wink2:

this is my first christmas with my sphynx, and i already put my tree up. i just made sure all the more fragile ornaments were at the top and honestly Hipo just sits at the bottom and for the first couple days he batted with a few oranments but nothing serious happened. He seems to be over it now.

My naked Sphynx didnt do much with the tree, But my daughters F1 liked to climb it and lay in the top of it. They didnt bother the ornaments or lights, just liked to lay in the top of it.

We don't bother with a tree.... I'm sure it wouldn't be pretty though. Our cats are crazy. I'm sure they would hatch a devious plan with the dogs!!!! LOL

roflmao , all those comments of Yours made me laugh !
I talked it over with my hubby and we are going to try to put the Nekkid Tree out for the Nekkid cat ! See how he does with out the Bulbs, if we find the Tree on the Floor ....we will have to get a really small one and Bare !! haha Then the tree will be as bare as our baby !!

I'm very worried about putting my tree up. I have a lot of very old ornaments and I don't want them to break. I think I will put the tree up and take it from there

I put up a hatrack wrapped in lights and a few ornaments hanging from it. It works as well as a Christmas tree. I also have an artificial palm tree that I decorate and light. ( No limbs on the bottom.)
