Constantly hungry?

Hey there! I have an almost 1 year old Sphynx named Lola, she’s just precious and my little lady, only thing is she meows like crazy for food, constantly. I’ve changed her diet a few times due to diarrhea, and no canned food worked for her so I recently switched to completely raw diet with hard food out all day for her. She will wake up at 5-6 am and meow until I feed her, I usually wake up around 7 am or 7:30 and I usually want her to wait but even if I don’t give in she will continue to meow until she’s fed and even after that to ask for more which I never give, eventually she gives up on second breakfast, but is there something nutritionally lacking for her? I feed her a mix of fresh sea food (shrimp, crab and small fish all fresh), organ meats and organic mince. I will also add an unsalted canned oyster to her food. Is she getting the nutrition she needs? Her diarrhea has stopped completely, she’s gaining weight and also her poo is less smelly! So I thought it would also help her endless hunger, and it’s not just in the morning she will try to steal food from plates, cry at least every hour in the kitchen begging me to go and feed her. I don’t give in. she eats raw three times a day. Will the meowing change? The only time I give in is in the mornings because my husband has to be up early and I can’t have her meowing and waking him up.

@LittleLumps how’s Lola? Still meowing for food? Not sure how long you’ve had her but maybe a slow feeder would help pace her and try to up play time in case her meows aren’t all about food. Our cat meows for hugs in the afternoons lol

I use Cat’s Meow or YouTube cat videos to distract my cat on days I’m too busy to play but she wants attention. It seems to stop the meowing.

Is the only raw she is eating seafood?

Really, that’s pretty frowned upon except as a treat. Poultry and mammal are preferred.

Additionally, raw and kibble should not be given together. So when you are feeding raw, you need to pick the kibble up for a couple hours before and after raw meals.
