CRAZY EYES!

Every night around the same time our girl Sushi gets these "crazy eyes" which we call them. Her pupils are almost fully dilated & she puts her ears back. ITS HER FUN TIME !!! She runs around like a mad woman, plays hide -n- seek with the kids, dive bombs them, jumps on them and acts super silly !! The kids love it !!! Does anyone else's Sphynx do that? We know when she's ready to play bc of her crazy eyes LOL:watching:

Absolutely! Piper's eyes turn from blue lemon shaped to big black round honkers. She will run as fast as she can and jump on top of Booeys head. She will also meow every time she jumps on something and sometimes runs so fast she jumps on the bed and can't stop herself and bounces off to the other side. I love it, it makes me laugh.

OH GOOD !!!! Haha I was starting to think she was a bit looney! We love it !!! We are always cracking up ! Im going to see if I can catch it on video tonight & post it

YES TOTALLY !!!! My husband though it was the raw food she eats but nope, its every night no matter what LOL

Oh yeah, my boys love it. It's pretty cool to see her interact with them. Its funny !

Lol, yes Rosie does the crazy wild eye thing, jumping springbok style off the bed sideways and disappearing off the edge, then dashing full speed up the hallway to get to the cat trees, doing a loop de loop of them and running back like a mad thing. She also does the cutest head turn, sort of tilting her head sideways almost upside down while anticipating a pounce, clapping her front paws together, then springing back in the air again, eyes wide and playful. I love the crazy hour, it's great to see her so animated and full of energy. It's usually around human bed time though, so we have thunder paws while we try to go to sleep!

LOL, yes. We call that "Cray Cray" or just "Cray".

"Max is Cray!!!" Hubby and I will declare to one another as Max does his best Evil Knievel maneuvering around the house, bouncing off furniture and us.

Sometimes Max goes so Cray Cray that he'll hurl himself sideways across the room (I don't understand these physics defying moves) at me, clutch my waist and remain perfect still for about 20 seconds. Then he scrabbles up my back, clutches my arm and shoulders and decides I'm a good alternative to his Kangaroo chew sticks. Then he'll stop once in a while, full on Cray Cray Eyes, look at Hubby or I and then resume chewing me.

I laugh so hard during these Cray Cray Exploits.

Missy displays this phenomenon too, most nights. She'll be napping or watching cars go by from the window, and it's like someone just flipped a switch! She'll sit bolt upright, go from "sleepy eyes" to "someone definitely put LSD in my coffee" eyes, and careen back and forth across the apartment for a good ten minutes, disregarding doors, walls, coffee tables, and the shins of any human who dares to obstruct her path. I generally tell friends and family that she's contacting the Mother Ship to deliver her daily reports.

I got to watch Monday night as my mothers adorable little sphinx Stewart Little get the crazy eyes.
I watch as his eyes went slowly from blue/green to all black, his ears went back and then BAM he was off .. my moms poor old dog didn't stand a chance

OMG our babies do this too- Hattie is craziest, but Sobe gives her a run for her money from time to time. Raskol only does it occasionally, but it's definitely "normal" Sphynx behavior... Totally entertaining too (if not just a tad dangerous for bystanders) lol.
