Anyone else done this? I have 2. One was ALWAYS dirty, I would bathe her and the next day she would be covered in dark spots and be so oily (left patches everywhere). I tried extra rinsing and different products and nothing worked. Then I tried just not bathing her. She's now got amazing, peachy soft skin and no skin issues. Obviously as a Sphynx owner you always get it drilled into you that they need bathing so would be interested to see other people's experiences!

That’s awesome you found what us working for you. I know a few members who don’t bathe or rarely do. I used to bathe ours every week, but now every other.

My vet told me that mine only needs to be bathed when she starts to feel greasy. That turns out to be about once every six weeks. But I need to wash her face and clean her ears daily.

@Amelia Cooper , so glad you found a routine that works. each kitty is a little different.
was interesting, I found mine got very greasy quickly on Acana cat food.
I feed different food now and can longer between full baths..

I personally do 2x a week wipe downs with trizultra on swissper large square cotton pads, just not on the face. (I wipe faces with warm water baby cloths)
I use the trizultra to wipe out ears too and dab on any rough housing skin nicks. I can go months between full bath spa days with my crew now having come up with a routine. I wipe around feet , nails, nail beds 2x a week with trizultra.

hugs n head smooches

I stoppedbathing my crew 3 years ago.Since then I only need to clean them with baby wipes once in 6 weeks. Their skin is so soft.
Glad it works for you too!

I stopped bathing my boy to not put more stress on him. He hates baths, we're a month out and he's so dirty... I clean his ears and face almost daily. I have started spot cleaning with hypo-Allergenic cat wipes. Hoping his skin adjusts soon..
