Declawed Kitten, litter?

I won't get into a debate regarding de-clawing @ this time. I went with another breeder due to other reasons. I know what de-clawing entails, very clearly in fact. Thanks for everyone's input. I appreciate it. But, I didn't mean to start in or a debate on de-clawing this thread was about cat litter.

If one kitty can be saved, it's worth it.
Declawing is a very sensitive subject to me. I did a research project on in it college. I never realized.. I'm a very sensitive person and being mean or neglecting animals really hit me. To beat it all, the people around my area don't really, value animals. I hate to admit there's a redneck atttidute toward animals around here. Luckily, there's great programs & rescue groups.

The US is one of a FEW countries where that it is LEGAL.

Please do your research before declawing your baby to see what really happens in the process. I have a cat that I was Godmother to who was declawed and he has soo many paw issues. They bother him, he chews them, and we can only use one type of litter that does not bother them. It is heart breaking

Wow...this is the first time I ever heard of a breeder saying you MUST declaw your cat. Very interested in knowing how your conversation goes about it tomorrow. Declawing is a very hot topic among owners and most feel very strongly one way or the other. Just be sure no matter how in love you are with the kitten, you must feel comfortable with the breeder as well.

I personally think it should be illegal everywhere. But, that's just me.

Sensitive subject for me as well. I went with a breeder that has in her contract to NOT de-claw. I am grateful her and I have the same views on the matter.

I'm so glad you were able to find a breeder that didn't declaw.
I hate to say this but I think I just skimmed over my contract. I know the breeder and they did explain it. I really trust them. If I hadn't of known them, I would have.
Can't wait to lots of pics of your baby. Nothing is cuter than a baby sphynx.

Thank you for all your help and post. I appreciate it. I am also very comfortable with my breeder and would recommend her and her family to anyone. I read hers though because of my last burn. I did lose my deposit. But, it was worth it.
