I think Johnny is a blue/white tuxedo.
Thanks Gizmo--when I look at that pic, I can ALMOST see it--but I think it's only because you told me that's what it is--if I saw that pic without someone telling me it was a lilac, it would not have crossed my mind that that is what it was. I think I am hopeless. Didn't you say a white cat has to have been from two white parents?

I had Wrinkles DNA tested.
People think she has choc in her but she does not carry it.

Yep...but there's a difference in being a choc or carry the choc gene....if both the parents carry the choc gene...there could be choc babies born....or they babies are regular color...but carry the gene for choc then....

Your welcome....just keep in mind that lilac is the dilution from chocolate

I am lousy with colors....there never seems to be a place where you can go that shows adequate pictures of the colorations--there are places you can go to read descriptions, but I think so many of the color variations are very difficult to distinguish from one kind to the other. I know the basic ones. but there are so many that I get really confused myself....like lilac--I can't tell that color on a cat to save my life. White and cream...might as well just forget me being able to tell the difference. I never knew that a white cat can only be white with two white parents....I think I could study it all all day and all night and still be confused at least part of the time.

I am glad even an expert like you can get perplexed about these colors! My seal colorpoint turned out to be a seal mink, because her eyes are aqua. My other girl is called a tortie & white- she looks like a calico without hair. I'm not sure where her white is supposed to be! My third & final Sphynx kitten may be a flame point, not sure yet! I also have Ragdoll cats, & I finally have their colors & patterns figured out. It seems like the Sphynx combinations are much more confusing! I have learned so much from the folks on the Lair!

Good idea for a thread...that being said, can anyone tell me what Lilo is?

Lilo is very cute. To be a dilute calico, she would be white with cream and blue. I don't see the blue. Lilo looks like a red and white bicolor but I would check with Gizmo.

Nope, definitely NO blue. Only cream and red from what I can tell. Her red "puzzle pieces" have gotten darker too in the short time I've had her.

So is there a way to tell the difference between white and cream? I think Nala's papers say she is white/cream... I could be wrong though. She looks white to me. But then again, she has no fur soooo... hahaha

Red and white...or cream and white....it's hard to tell....you need to take some pics in daylight without the flash on....then you get the most naturel color

I will now go and be looking at the bottom of the feet of my cats, but one of my cats is not what the breeder told me she is!
