Em absolutely loves interfering helping when either my partner or myself is on the computer. I've been playing a lot of The Sims lately and decided Em deserved to be part of the fun! She hopped right up on my desk and sniffed her digital self and then, unimpressed, posed nicely for a quick photo. My partner is off-screen laughing his butt off, and I suspect that's what she's staring at. Alas, the character creator did not have an option for extra large ears, a mushroomy smell, or an obsession with putting bite marks in everything I own. I had to settle for the "playful" trait instead!

I was too! It's quite popular in the Sims community from what I can see; lots of little naked kitties with cute sweaters on in screenshots. It doesn't hold a candle to the real thing, of course--and the fact that random strays can spawn in as naked always makes me a bit sad.

Em's the first cat I've ever had that's paid attention to what's happening on the computer screen. This is definitely not the first time she's seen something that's interested her and attempted to sniff/bite/claw it. She's hopped up to interrogate what I'm typing about her twice already, and earlier this evening she interrupted a video game to bop at the character.
