Ash, my HOCM baby, also has dental difficulties and has been on clindamycin pulse therapy (antibiotic for one week a month). He has been rubbing at his mouth recently and his breath has gotten horrible, however he started his pulse on Monday. And promptly developed a rash. We took him into the vet today and he had to be pulled off the clindamycin. His teeth/gums are also horrible and they need to do a cleaning - and probably extractions - again. I'm always scared about this because of the anesthesia and his HOCM. He goes in next Tuesday (Dec 4th). Any prayers are welcome.:Sweat::Sweat::Sweat:

Healing energy to Ash from California as well! My friend used to be a vet tech and said that the anesthesia they used for dental cleanings was always super light. Of course you are still going to worry until he is back home as any good mama would.
