Duke is back! He had dough/pizza toxicity

I cancelled Duke's journey after a gut feeling having learned Jimmy got sick on pizza.

***. Apparently Duke had dough/pizza toxicity.. It can kill, and almost killed my Duke! I talked to my vet . I read up on dough toxicity and that pizza is 3rd on the list for toxicity!

Since 1987 my furkids enjoyed a nibble of our pizza. Never a problem until now.. It was a new brand and made Jimmy sick too.. I learned a valuable lesson and wanted to share.. It is deadly and nearly had me give my Duke his wings..

Thank you for your prayers .. They were answered for us and my Marma Duke.

Glad hes feeling better, ive never heard of pizza poisioning before i'll have to tell everybody no pizza crust scraps for the dogs no more xxx

So glad he's all right!! The crust is my favorite part of pizza so my pets have never gotten to have any - I had no idea this could happen! I'll tell my in-laws; their dogs get lots of scraps. Thank you for the info!!

Helsinki- I never ever had this happen before.. This was a different take out pizza brand. It was probably a combo of their ingredients/type of dough and toppings.. He presented like he had a rupture in his spleen .. Severe abdominal pain , etc..
I would have never believed this could happen until it did - Since 1987 it has never ever happened.. Some may doubt it- but I would encourage to read up on line..

It only takes one time.. And it nearly cost him his life.
