EARS!

[Hanzomum]

Hi all

Hanzo has had ear issues for several months now. We've been to the vet numerous times and had different medications. It always seems to come back.

He shakes his head, scratches it a lot. It seems to weep gunky stuff which I clean as much as he'll let me..

So recently I took to the internet and found this item:

All the reviews seem great etc.. Usable on cats.. But when I used it on Hanzo he really was unhappy and seemed irritated by it. The product boasts about how great it smells, which may not be so great for my bald kitty..?

Has anyone else ever used this with their Sphynx?

Sorry to hear Hanzo is dealing with ear issues. I'm not familair with this product. I used an ear cleaner once and my crew hated it. Now I only use babywipes and q tips.

I bought the very same bottle last week and I have four furless babies. Some are more drama queens than others lol. A few drops massage the ear, move away and they will shake there head. After that wipe away excess which it’s seems on my four to loosen deep gunk and you have nice clean ears. One of my girls is a bit of a diva and detested every second and was itching at her ear for a bit afterwards but now she is fine and ears are still clean. Xx

I have never used anything in Raphael's ears except Q-tips. She loves getting her ears cleaned and usually purrs while I'm doing it. Would it be more comfortable for your kitty if you warmed it before adding it to their ears? I know I hate cold drops in my ears but don't mind if the drops have been warmed up. I warm them by putting the bottle in a warm cup of water for awhile.
