I m interested in an Elf eared Sphynx kitten (3 months old) my husband is allergic to cats be has always wanted one and I love them. I also have a 6 month old baby boy who is sweet and playful. And 2 medium sized dogs that are sweet and playful but have never met a cat. Besides weekly cleanings what are the PROS & CONS?

And any tips as well as food brand?

And if you have any Sphynx for adoption I would love that as an option!
I'm also in Tx

Welcome to sphynxlair as said in the other thread. Good you're doing research.

Specially with an elf it can be difficult to clean their ears because they're curled. It all depends on how much the ears are curled of course. For the rest it's the same as with a sphynx.

Did your husband cuddled and petted a sphynx once? Cause he can still be allergic to a sphynx. Depends on what he's allergic to: the hair, dender or saliva? Sphynx also have dender and saliva of course so that could still cause an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to all 3 but with my sphynxes it's not too bad.

Ohh so cute, I have a elf kitty there is not much difference except their bodies are a little smaller and some what different , shorter legs and looks more muscular. That is the difference between mine. My grandson has cat allergies and that is how I got started with this breed. Best of Luck.
