I think the antibiotics have finally gotten to Elvy's stomach.
She had such awful, liquid poo earlier and it looked like she paw painted with it. And it got on the floor. :ThumbsDown:
Major suck.
I called the vet, like the instructions said to, they waited over an hour to call me back and said they'd prescribe her something else for the stomach upset, but they were only open for twenty more minutes and I didn't think it was do-able. I said I'd take care of it with pumpkin.
Also even though I modified her onesie, she keeps escaping from it and I finally had enough and got her an inflatable collar so she cannot lick her stitches.
I went grocery shopping, went to the Pet store, and hit up Target.
My back was hurting, so I asked Lil to get Elvy some food. She came back up with a bag that was steaming.
She said all of it was frozen so she put it in the microwave. :ThumbsDown:
So I had to pitch it as it smelled god awful and none of us wanted to be anywhere near it. :ThumbsDown:
Ah well, tomorrows got to be a better day!

Its not a cone, its more like a donut I had to thread one of her collars thru. The "Vampire Bite" collar Count Von Cutiepants sent her for Yule did just the trick! :Cool:

Awh no! Poor Elvy and the whole household. Sorry Lil and sorry Sara that your back is sore. I get that occasionally too. A real suck! I hope the cone doesn't have to be used for too much longer and the runs stop. Elvy must be so uncomfortable. Whenever Graddy got a prescription of antibiotics the vet would also add an anti-diarrhea med to the mix. If the pumpkin doesn't help i hope she can get something like that. Big hugs to all of you.

When Jouët had tummy issues from antibiotic, vet prescribed a probiotic to take in order to help with he tummy. You might want to inquire.
