hi! I heard that many essential oils can be toxic for the pets! I'm panic now, because I'm huge fan and user of essential oils and I difuse them every single day in my apartment, for nice smell and health and emotional purposes! Are there some that can be bad for Karl so I can avoid them? These days I'm using a thyme... or r they toxic only when applied on the skin not while breathed?

There is a lot of essential oils that can be toxic to them you want to watch for the ones that carry Phelon and ketones in them and citrus oils there liver can't process them like most mammals can. If you are diffusing just make sure Karl can leave the room if he wants too and that it is well ventilated for him

I'm being told by many of my friends with pets that they were told by their vets that it doesn't matter if you're putting them in a diffuser. They are still toxic to all pets. I'm like Suki and run my diffuser 24/7!!! Help!

@Ailin , for peace of mind I would ask your vet -
Weird timing too ..My neighbor just texted me two days ago about something she heard essential oils but didn't elaborate .. I have used essential oils for years
I have Himalayan salt lamps that I read are Bad for kitites if they lick at them

Then I think of all the plug in air fresheners used out there
Including at vets offices

Keep us updated with what your vets office suggests
