Ok, so I have been reading about raw for quite a while now, and I have come across a few post on Yahoo from people that feed their cats mice & rats, (either alive or dead), that they buy from local breeders. Would this be something you would recommend? It would be for adults only, but I am nervous about switching completely to raw due to Susi mentioning the risk of Coccidia in kittens. (yes i breed and this is something that makes me nervous as far as my kittens) But i want to feed what is best and healthiest for the cats. I feed Royal Canin right now, but I am not thrilled with it. What do other breeders recommend feeding your breeding cats and newborn kittens?

Im not a breeder but we feed our kittens a raw diet that's called rad cat. Its a frozen product that comes in chicken and turkey. Its still very fresh that you have the blood in the food still. My kittens love it and its very healthy for them. Not to brag but I have probably the most muscular in shape kittens around. Also there poop does not stink or runny at all. I recommend this diet to anyone who has Sphynx kittens. It just keeps them very healthy and in shape.
