Food samples?

Since our beautiful babies are so sensitive and I'm having a hard time finding a food that works for my handsome boy, I was wondering if any of the cat food companies send out samples instead of buying so many full size bags that get wasted (or passed on to friends). Trying to find a wet food will be easy because I can buy a can at a time but I've already wasted money on 2 bags of kibble that are not for Thor. I think he is sensitive to chicken. We are trying to replace the nine lives plus his previous family fed him

Do you have a vet for Thor? Maybe you can call the vet and ask if they have sample of food. Here in the Netherlands vets do get lots of sample from brands cause the brands hope the vet is going to sell their product.
Or otherwise you can mail a brand and aks if they want to sent you a sample. Hope this works.

You could try contacting the companies directly or ask at your pet food store. Pet food stores often receive samples, but how they dole them out, I've no idea.

Science diet and halo are what we've tried so far. We got him 9 lives plus because he was loosing so much weight and his previous owner fed him that. I will try chewy.com. Thank you

Have you asked if the pet stores will return them? I know that here if you need to return an opened bag of dry food with the receipt they will take it back no problem... tell them it is an allergy/ sensitivity.

I've emailed several companies trying to find a healthy food that my babies would all enjoy. Nearly every one was happy to help and provided a sample. It may take a few weeks though for them to arrive. Great way to try a food.

Also remember, switching food to quick.
Will cause stomach issues. Diarrhoea, too.
