Well, here is a little back story..

Ford is a family/farm cat that has lived on my Dad's farm since I was in middle school, what seems like many moons ago at this point. She showed up one day and kinda stuck around ever since. My Dad was not too thrilled about her at first, because we were only down to visit every other weekend and he had his hands full with taking over the livestock/farm after his parents had passed away. Well... funny thing is... my Dad thought she was a he... well after a few months of Ford coming and going, she gotta 'fat' and my Dad realized... what he thought was a he... was really a she. So she had her litter and from there we added 3 new kitties to our family- Sid Vicious, my kitty, Chevy- my little brother's kitty and Mischief- my sister's kitty. But sure enough my Dad took Ford to get spayed and she never left after that. And within no time my Dad enjoyed having her and her kitties around. All the cats are really close and hangout in the yard and go into the barns.

Well, this morning my sister (who lives with my Dad) informs me that she found Ford in the driveway dead and that she had been ran over.:Cry: They are are not sure who actually ran over her. I feel really bad for the other cats especially Chevy, they were super close and always together. My sister is going to bury her this evening after she gets home from work. We have a small area on the farm, where we have some what of a pet cemetery for our pets over the years and my dad's livestock that has passed away (he treats them like they are his babies too).

We have not lost a pet in so long, that it just seem so unreal.

Sorry for the long back story, I know I don't talk about a lot of my other pets that do not live with me much on here.

Rest in peace, Ford. May you run free and sleep on the lap of an angel until your family joins you across the Bridge.
So sorry for your loss,
Susi and the Gang

Again, thank you all for your kind words. I have kept my naked kitties extra close today, their snuggles help.

Sorry to hear of Ford - sounds like she had a good life on the farm for many years. RIP Ford.

I'm so sorry Amber  how can someone hurt another being and just leave them. Poor Chevy! I hope they'll be okay without her. Especially your dad. It's just so sad  RIP Ford
