A concern some might have is seeing adult teeth growing in next to their deciduous teeth (kitten teeth.) In most cases it is just a matter of time until those baby teeth fall out so don’t panic. On average by the time a kitten is 6-7 months old, all 30 of their adult teeth will have grown in normally.
Here is a picture of our kitten with a baby tooth and adult tooth coming in right next to one another she lost the canine on the other side 3 days ago, so it is only a matter of days until she loses this one. In rare cases, if a kitten does not lose their baby teeth (called persistent deciduous teeth) vets will extract them to avoid possible future dental issues and poor alignment. The most common persistent teeth are the upper canines.
