The inner eyelid of a cat’s eye is called palpebra tertia or better known as what?

A. Nictitating membrane
B. Third eyelid
C. Haw
D. All of the above

Happy Friday Lairians !

Answer: D. All of the above

The haw should be whitish-pink, translucent and located in the inner corner of the eye. It is usually hidden, only briefly appearing when a cat blinks, sleeps, or is very relaxed. If it is persistently visible, it may indicate an underlying health issue and worth getting a vet check.
