One action cats do that can drive people crazy is when they get underfoot/weave between your legs. Cats do this because they are asking for attention, anticipating you are going to feed them or they are marking you with their scent. I know firsthand it can feel like they are trying to trip you on purpose, but it is actually a sign of love and a way for them to maintain closeness with you regularly.
