Fun Friday Cat Fact of the Day 5-3-24…veins in ears

Cat’s ears are full of tiny veins that constrict in cold environments in order to retain heat or expand in hot environments to help release heat. If your cat has been sunning in a window in the afternoon, chances are they will be letting off body heat through their ears and you will see the veins in their ears are more prominent.
