So this morning, I was eating breakfast with Cleo in my lap. She likes to be covered with my hand spun, hand knitted shawl, but she hates to share my lap. Sydney, our 12-year-old DLH, decided that she also needed to cuddle on my lap. Each time Sydney would get up, Cleo kept biting poor Sydney's tail and feet, picking fights until Sydney would get off. Finally, after 4 times of this stuff, I covered Cleo with a second shawl. Then Cleo finally went to sleep and poor Sydney was able to get on my lap for her well-earned cuddle. But about an hour later, Bob got up and Sydney went to cuddle with him. Cleo got off my lap and went over just so she could harass Sydney until she got off of BOB'S lap too! Then Cleo went back to my lap. She let Sydney get back into Bob's lap, but Cleo glared at poor Sydney the entire time she and Bob cuddled! And here I thought Sphynxes LOVED to cuddle other cats!!! Does anyone else have a Sphynx that won't let other cats share a lap?? Julie
Anyway, here's a very warm, happy Cleo
And a victorious Sydney!!
