Goodbye Lenore

I learned this morning that Lenore (of Buck Naked & Lenore) has crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. Muddpuddles (Jessica) is devastated and asked me to please let you guys know. She had a seizure and fluid in her lungs suddenly and the only option was to help her cross the rainbow bridge comfortably. She had 5 amazing years with Jessica and lived the life all sphynx could dream.

She and Emma Leigh are now in Heaven running pain free once again!

Thank you all for your kind words. It's devastating to lose her, but I'm just glad that she isn't hurting anymore and was surrounded by people who loved her dearly when she passed. 8 years old is far too young, but there was nothing that could be done. I'll always treasure the 5 years she was with me, and we'll all miss her terribly. We had a good run. I just wish it could've lasted forever.

I commented on Facebook about sweet Lenore....I never saw this post until now. Forgive me for not commenting earlier. Jess, I know how much you loved Lenore. She was a lucky little girl to have found you, and she loved you right back. The hole that remains after they're gone seems impossible to fill....I know it does. But death can't steal our memories or the love we shared with these sweet little souls who wanted nothing more than to please us and love us for all they were worth. She crammed a lot of sweetness into those five years you shared together. And I truly believe she will be waiting at the gate to welcome you when it is your turn to pass from this life and will once again fill your days with love.

Thank you for easing her gently to the bridge. Surrounded by the warmth of those you love isn't such a bad way to go....and if she could talk, I know she would thank you for the five years that gave her a family. She knew she was loved...and love is everything.
