I am a first-time Sphynx owner, and love my "grand baby" kitty totally. My four-year-old grandson and I fell immediately in love when we met Gracie. She was a mommy who was nt going to be bred again. She came to us very ill and the breeder would have put her down had she known how great the expense would be. She is now doing fantastically and loves to drive me crazy with her antics - controls the house, and is loved by everyone who comes in. I would loveto adopt a rescue cat - probably a grown female (if there were no dispute issues) or a kitten. any suggestions?

I bought my first sphynx from a breeder and adopted my other two from Craigslist. Typically not many Sphynx are on Craigslist.... but keep your eye out there.
Also, Sphynx Lair has an rescue/adoption area. Where members will either offer up their babies and/or come accross a rescue on other sites and will post them there for our members to try and find homes for them.
You can also try sites like Kijiji or Petfinder.

Not sure where you are, but there is a sphynx available for re-home listed under rescues here on the site, located in California. Good luck to you !!
