Hello everybody!

My name is Maibrit (it would probably be pronounced "Maybrith" in English) and I'm from Denmark (localised in Scandinavia). I'm born in 1989, so I'm currently 21 years old and finishing high school (upper secondary school) this summer.

I have three cats: a pedigree Maine Coon named Nimbus, a mixture of breeds (likely European Shorthair and Burmese) named Ami Malone and a pedigree Sphynx named Nanoq. I show both my Maine Coon and my Sphynx in FIFE primarily in Denmark. Nanoq was on her first show on April the 9th in Fredericia (Danish town) with good results: Ex 1 + NOM, so I was quite happy.

The pictures below shows me and Nokki just before NOM in Fredericia:

I look forward to spend time on this forum.

Welcome Maibrit!!!! Nokkki is a very pretty kitty indeed  do post pics of your other kitties!!!!! We love pictures on here. I am getting 2 kittens in June they won't be show but loved. I would like to get into it eventually but figured I wanted to own a sphynx first.... The next baby I get will be a working gal  How long have you been familiar with the "show" business?

- Good luck with your little girl. The Sphynx is indeed a breed of its own and I just love their temper. :Adore:

I've been in the "show" business since 2008, where I got my first Maine Coon (Nimbus), and my first show with my own Sphynx was in April 2011. I'm new in the Sphynx show world so to speak, but I love showing. It's a really good way of connecting with other Sphynx owners and breeders. Unfortunately there aren't so many Sphynx on show in Denmark. There were only two Sphynx on the last show and that includes my own. I show primarily in Fife, but I've heard that TICA is also all right - especially their significant show way that is divided into rings, so your cat meets different judges rather than just one (that is the Fife way).
