I'm excited too! I've been doing the happy dance since last night! I was really arfaid that we were going to lose her for a while there. NO MORE KITTY KIBBLES IN THIS HOUSE!!!! It's organic wet food or nothing!

Whew, I feel like I've been on this emotional roller coaster with you guys and I'm like 9 states away.
I swear when I read that she was doing better I actually cheered out loud.
Bear thinks I'm a nut case and cannot understand how I'm this emotionally invested in the well being of a cat I've never met in person. Silly old Bear!

It's definitely been a roller coaster! It's not crazy at all that you felt that way! I'm honored, actually!) I honestly feel the same way about Elvy! For some reason, I feel like you guys are part of the family even though we've never met in person! Kindred spirits, I tell ya! Just tell him to think of her as a distant cousin or soemthing... Maybe that'll make sense to him...

It's awesome that she has a cheerleader! In the literal sense even! I swear when I tell her that her ego is going to balloon to epic size...

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! It's been rough, but we're finally coming out of it!

How is miss Bea? I haven't heard of any more issues lately, so I hope that means her tummy is doing much better! She's still as lovely as ever!

After being Swiss-cheese kittah, I think Lenore deserves a lot more than just a cheerleader!!!

How is miss Bea? I haven't heard of any more issues lately, so I hope that means her tummy is doing much better! She's still as lovely as ever!

Bea is still having issues, but seems to finally be getting better - soft poop yesterday! And going once a day instead of twice. I'm now adding digestive enzyme + pumpkin in addition to probiotic to her food. Had tried clay but that didn't help as much as hoped. I took her off antibiotic and steroid.

She gave me a scare Sunday - stopped eating, vomited twice and late at night cried out in pain 3 times when getting up + couldn't seem to get comfortable sitting. I was all ready to pack her up + take her to the emergency vet, but then she settled down and slept. The vet wasn't sure what it was (saw her 1st thing next morning) but animal communicator thinks she passed a stone. She also lost a pound, so feeling guilty not feeding her enough, but think it's the diarrhea. Since the enzyme + pumpkin she isn't so ravenous so thinking that means food is staying in her longer (which the less frequent poo is also indicating) and she'll get more nutrients from it.

And of course she is lovely, she looks like Lenore!

We are so lucky to have our little rescue sphynxies!

I'm so glad she's improving! Hopefully the right combination of remedies can be found and get her back to where she needs to be. She's so lucky to have found someone who cares for her so much and is patient enough to do whatever it takes to get her better! We really are lucky to have them! They just make life so much better!

Jess, She needs some protein. Try baby food with just the meat and gravy in it. If she won't eat it full strength, you can make a drizzle with it that you can syringe feed. I've not met many kitties that don't LOVE the baby food. And try feeding her food in a different bowl. She might not associate it with the stuff that made her sick.
