My baby girl is 7 yrs old!!! I adopted her 6 mos ago as a heart healer when my Boo aussie suddenly gained his wings from Hemangiosarcoma. Gunnar was so depressed missing his dad. a little history, about 15 yrs ago adopted Rae black tri aussie retiree from Deb an aussie show dog breeder. She then gave me Boo, Rae's bestie. Boo was too shy for the show ring. Rae gained her wings at 15 yrs old. She had breed Boo once (after responsible breeder Eye certifications OFA , DNA, MDR1 gene testing etc) and said I could have a puppy from Boo's litter. and there came Gunnar red merle to my heart and home.
After the sudden loss of Boo to hermagiosarcoma( Deb got him from a different breeder for her breeding program back in the day and she told me he was the oldest to survive in his litter). She has not had a litter in years now. Deb told me she was retiring Tillie (never had a litter) a show dog, dock diving dog 6 1/2 yrs old. she told me to think about it and may be a good heart healer for me and Gunnar who was so depressed missing his dad Boo.
I followed my gut and welcomed Tillie to my heart and home back in October 2025. She had never seen a cat! lol at the time Macie Mae bengal 2 sphynx and Raven cat here. well, it was a seemless transition and bonded so well together.
Tillie was meant to be "the one". She truly acts like a puppy so well behaved and Besties with Gunnar and kitties. It makes my heart happy such a seamless transition like she was always here.
She is a fun loving baby girl and truly has been a heart healer. I am blessed to be her mum and share her first birthday with me at 7 yrs old. Seniors rock!
I love her and Gunnar soo much and makes my heart smile when they play together and sleep together often times with Gunnar sleeping with his head on her feet. Meant to be.
