My name is Chessica and I’d like to introduce myself I guess. Never really done this before n hope it’s not too long.
I’m lost without my boy! He would have been 20 last month but he crossed over early Easter morning. I miss the chin boop and him pretending to be a purring scarf. I am ready for another kitty companion and I’m here because according to Google everyone here loves sphynx (Velcro water bottles w legs)
2 years ago just about I was diagnosed w severe hypertension and had to sell my half of my daycare boarding business for behavioral and health issue dogs (some cats too) because of the stressful environments effects on my BP. (That’s the short version) (oh I was a tech for almost 20 yrs small and farm animals and certified FL animal control hence how I had the business)
I began my stay at home hospice pet mom begin again life 24/7 (during my normal years I rescued and care for terminal animals on euthanasia lists and am an extreme foster failure who adopted them all ) and now Being home my BP is under control and I started a pet couture accessories business (hats, ties, cuffs n collars) don’t laugh it’s very fun and creative n keeps me busy. Losing my boy made me realize that my youngest pup who is 5 and no longer hospice of course (was when rescued as pup, but normal now and had leg surgery and lives with cartilage disorder) will be alone sooner than later as all members of his pack are over 12 years with ailments ranging from paraplegic w/cancer to seizures and syncope w/DBD. Age is catching up and my youngest will be alone. I am 50 now and since I am home always I am in position to for the first time in my life have a sphynx companion. My boy adores kitties and was taught by the best kitty grandpa cat rules n regulations
Anyways I’ve been looking for a young or younger sphynx female preferably spayed already, hairless or a bit of fuzz, no color or paper preference or papers or really anything but healthy and snuggly and needing a FOREVER home with someone who will love her to bits.
I’ve been on every possible site n rescue page imaginable, Been scammed out of a deposit of a regime and just has a guy up the price on a beautiful lil unregistered girl that I was to pick up ext week, I think it’s hopeless !
I promised myself to adopt not shop but sphynx are near impossible to find and I’m ok w a rehoming or adopting fee and i know the care they need so im here asking for help locating a companion kitty for me n my boy!
