Thank you! The latest is that as long as my reference checks out (it will), I am getting the rescue gal tomorrow!
I was offered a killer deal from a breeder friend that I hate to turn down, Im sure I will be kicking myself forever over it, but I just cant resist a rescue. No showing for me for now, but when I get a bigger home Im sure I will be up to the knees in bald cats. LOL
So all I know is that shes 5, and she sounds like a tortie. I dont know her name, I dont know if shes registered or anything except that she did not like the other housecat. I am setting up my bedroom to keep her in thereafcvgcvzacvazzvzvzvAz Z Z Z Z Z Z <--- (that was a mixture of Simon and my son... too cute to delete) ..there so that they can meet and greet through the wall for a few weeks. I hope everything works out and she is wonderful!
Oh gosh. I have to get out all my sweaters and the heated bed I made and and and.. Oh my gosh!!

SHE's HERE!!!! AND SHE'S PERFECT!!!
In the first moments.. she came right to me, curled her little body against mine, and begged for pets and purred like mad. She is perfect. She took a look around, went potty after her 6 hour drive, had some water, and then came right back to talk at us and ask for rubbins. She loves her little flower bed I got for her and shes cuddling up in the blanket I sewed for my son. Hes a bit big for it now LOL but its nice and soft and warm for her!
I do NOT want to go to work tomorrow, needless to say! I want to spend tomorrow getting to know her.. but its probably for the best. She was spayed this morning so tomorrow she can just rest and recooperate. Oh you guys, I am so happy!

So, can you tell us her story? Do you know her history at all, or how she came to be in rescue? All four of mine were rescues and have very different backgrounds, including Helen, who is retired from the circus!

Oh my gosh, where do I start.
This is the MOST affectionate cat I have ever had, and she has been that way since the moment she came into the house. She sleeps with us under the covers and in the morning she watches me waiting for me to open my eyes. She knows when our eyes are closed that its time to rest, but the moment our eyes open in the morning, she's talking to us and purring and begging for rubs.
Simon is in a state of shock, when he does see her through a peeped door he turns into a GIANT FLUFFBALL and makes a "What the ---- is THAT!?" noise. I have been showering him in affection as well, as he seems quite concerned that he has been replaced (he's not allowed to sleep with us, ever since he was a kitten he has bitten feet when he wants you to wake up LOL).
From what I understand, Peach and her friend/sister/relative were given away because of a failing financial situation in their home. I'm in contact with the original owners and we will keep in touch. She was spayed and hand delivered to me by the fabulous, wonderful folks at Bemisu (seriously, Ferrin is the nicest person in the world). I almost got the wrong kitty, because I had Ragdolls they thought I wanted her older friend/sister/relative LOL who is apparently a big mush. The owner was concerned that Peach didn't do well with other cats because she is.. well, a pest. She wants to play and is very active and that didnt mesh well. However, thats just what I was looking for, because my Rag boys are mush and love each other and here's Simon (who is yet again glued to my face as I type this) who is lonely and being a pest to THEM. It all happened perfectly that I got in touch with them just in time to sort out who got who!! And I am so thankful that I did, because she is just perfect, I can tell once Simon figures out she's a cat and he isn't going to catch some plague by meeting her that they will be fabulous for each other.
My son cosleeps with us, and usually when he takes a nap I have to cuddle with him so he won't wake up. Now Peach snuggles up and keeps him warm and I can actually do things like take a shower or make some lunch LOL I got a cat, a playmate, and a babysitter all in one!!

Oh no, she was picked up and delivered by Ferrin's boyfriend. Its funny because I had recently contacted her about a kitten.. if I do get a kitten in the future, there's a strong chance I would get one from them. I love her videos on youtube!!
And my hubby did get one pic of us together- this morning he took my son to play so I could sleep, and when he came back in he snapped a shot of us snuggled up asleep I'll try to get it up tonight! Were having a VERY late dinner.
