Hello everyone. new member here....just wanted to say hi and tell my lil sphynx story.

My wife and I have been in love with this breed for so long and due to some unfortunate yet fortunate circumstances we are the proud "parents" of a few amazing Cats.

We heard from a friend of a less than reputable breeder getting shut down in our area.

This is Drusila:

She was our first....she instantly became like our 2nd child. I have to this day to love an animal as i did her. Not long ago...she got really ill and passed away in the matter of weeks. Not even 2 years old. What a tragedy.

She is Drusila's younger half sister. We brought her home 6 months later after receiving a call from a contact we have at the Humane society. It seems that same breeder didnt stop as ordered, and was shut down yet again.

The top picture was taken the day we brought her home. Se was immediately bathed and cleaned asap. Its amazing how people dont keep their ears clean huh?

As you all probably know.....this is an amazing breed. We are blessed to have them in our family.

Its sad to hear about people who mistreat animals. Drusila was a pretty kitty. What a shame she passed away so young, You other so are so cute. I love the picture of Talulah sitting on the dresser. These sphynxs are so lucky to have found you.

You have gorgeous kitties! Sorry that Lucilla died, that is very sad at such as young age! Although its hard at any age.
I am also obscessed with ear cleaning, especially if theres anyone taking photos. In fact Nofuratu had a photo shoot this week and I wouldnt let her snap pics until I had used up all my q tips first!

Welcome! I'm pretty new myself. Everyone here has been super super nice, not to mention knowledgeable!

Sorry about your loss. That's always so tough to handle. All your kitties are beautiful!

Welcome to the Lair! Thank you so much for taking in these beautiful creatures! :ThumbsUp: I'm so sorry to hear about Drusila, but at least she knew true love before she passed on! Bless you and your little naked family! :Laugh:

I am sooooo glad that's just a picture you found and not something you did to one of yours!!! Whew!!
Welcome to the Lair. I already think you're wonderful--rescuing these two babies and offering to help someone in need. You're tops in my book!

John, I am so sorry about your baby girl... Do you know what her illness was? Just because we all like to be on the look-out here!

And your girls now are both beautiful... Just LOVE Talulah!! (there are a few of us here that have a thing for the gingers!!)

SO glad you have known the love of these incredible little creatures... and so glad you found us!!!:ThumbsUp:
