Hello, everyone!
I just brought my first sphynx home three weeks ago and probably would have joined here earlier, but she has been running my life like a drill sergeant since the moment she got in the door.
Brunhilde was the biggest, most confident, (and in my humble opinion, most beautiful) kitten in the litter. Originally, I was planning on getting a different kitten, but when we met, I didn't feel our personalities made for a good match. Brunhilde was only seven weeks old at that time and absolutely tiny, but she was so gregarious and lovely that I decided to wait another month and a half until she was old enough. It was the best decision I have ever made.
Don't be fooled by her chronically judgmental face, she really is such a sweet, considerate animal. For instance, if I don't get up first thing in the morning, she'll wake me up by rubbing her sweaty belly all over my face and batting at my eyelids! I don't even need an alarm clock because she wakes me up long before I would ever need an alarm to go off. How many people can say their cats look out for their best interests like that?
