Hi! So, here I am new owner and have a question already!!

I've been cleaning Ramses ears with these pet ear wipe pads I bought. I think they may have alcohol in them.

I got overzealous the other day and cleaned below his ears as well with them (like on his skull above his eye.) I know, SO stupid right??

He has like zero hair there to begin with. Yesterday, I noticed that area was covered in a bumpy, hard, reddish rash. None of it was "open" and it didn't seem to bother him when I touched it, but there was a definitely a scaly irritated rash.

Any advice on what to put on it? I figured it was just contact dermititis, and I'd wait a day or two to see if it gets better before running to the vet.

Any advice? Or anyone see anything similar? I had NO idea how sensitive my baby's skin was!

I would just rinse it with cool water and a very soft cloth then leave it alone. Their skin is very sensitive :( Hope it clears up soon.

Graddy recently got a nasty rash from a cream I used on myself which passed onto him and one of the members Muddpuddles01 told me to put Olive Oil on. The rash had almost disappeared by the next day and I was so grateful to her for that advice Only Olive Oil though because the molecules are small enough to penetrate the skin Hope it gets better soon
