Help!!!

I will cleanIng Bills ears with Vetoquinol solution and may have gotten it in his mouth. He foamed a little and shook his head and foam was coming out of his mouth. He seems fine now but should I be worried?

I'm sure he'll be fine. I know it's not to be ingested, but if it's safe for the ears, it shouldn't hurt him if he swallowed a little bit. Keep you eye on him, and as long as he's acting normal (eating, drinking, playing) I think everything is fine.
If you're uncomfortable or unsure, you should just call the vet and ask.

Cats tend to foam like that when they get something they find really and truly nasty in their mouths.

I had to give Skully liquid meds that made her foam every time! And they were from the vet!

We discovered this 'ability' with Raskol last week- started him on allergy meds (poor nose and eyes) and the first one made him foam like a toddle's bubble bath, and he was drooling like mad! Had no idea such a small critter could produce such copious quantities of drool and foam!! Lol. He's much better now though.

Wow, this is a very educational thread. I had no idea they would foam at the mouth from yucky substances. Good to know as I imagine that would be worrying at first.

Thanks to your question I learned foam is quit normal when a sphynx taste something he dislikes as @MelissaAlice and @KansasSphynxDad tells us!
Toa always start coughing like he is chocking when I want to give him meds or wait to long to give him food. So good to now his next trick can be foam!

I also gave him a bath today. When I left for work he was good. My husband is coming home soon n will likely let me know if there are any problems but I suspect he will be ok. These things are hard for me to know because I have never had an animal before so most things are knew to me. But, I love my little guy more n more each day
