he's home he's home he's home!!!

we got home late last night. the flight went ok. our flight out of houston was delayed for what felt like forever, so by the time we got home, i was soooooo done. the kitties did so well, though. we took laurel to tulsa first thing this morning to meet her new mama.

kimo is so perfect! he's so tiny and adorable, and bold! not pushy like laurel was, just very sure of himself. he went straight up to ariana like it was no big deal. i'm totally in love!! it's hard taking pictures of a kitten that is all up in your face wanting loves, or running amok chasing a toy, but here are a few.

i tried to get some of him and laurel together, but they didn't cooperate.

thanks, y'all!

i'd intended to keep him in my room for a few days, to let him get settled, but he was having nothing to do with it! so after ariana went to bed, i put watson (the rambunctious and dumb boxer puppy) in his kennel, and let kimo come out into the living room. he promptly curled up next to me on the couch, purring like a fool, while i worked on my knitting and river (the bomb-proof, unflappable pit/mix) laid at my feet. he hissed at river a couple of times, but as long as she didn't get too close, or move too fast, he was content to let her exist in his world. lol

here are a couple that i meant to post earlier and forgot.

he licked her nose, she hugged his head. and here i thought i was getting a kitten for ME! guess i was wrong....
