Hey, I am a newbie here! I have wanted a sphynx for such a long time. My husband was worried because he is allergic to some cats, so I thought I would never be able to get a sphynx. Last year after my dad passed away, my husband began searching for a sphynx and really wanted to see whether his allergies would be bothered or not. We got super lucky because he was not bothered at all! We met some sphynx and he even rubbed his face all over them. He usually gets itchy eyes right away if an animal bothers him, but sphynx are ok with him for some reason. Anyway, we ended up getting Bubbles, and he is an amazing little boy. He has brought me such peace and comfort. He really is a joy. We are bringing home another little guy for him hopefully next week. I think he will be very happy to have a brother

Welcome! I love your cats name. Maybe your husband was allergic to cat hair and not dander? Or sometimes people allergic to dander dont have a reaction to sphynx because they dont have hair to hold their dander in. Glad it worked out!

Mom is gone now, but reading that name brought back a whole slew of happy memories for me this morning. Thanks!
