I’m on the bus. I just noticed they now how signs to say where you are. We had to crate Dottie until Shel gets home. I couldn’t cancel my 3 dr appts. Argggh. I would have sucked it up and gone for bravery but again I am the instigator at night. I have two sides but one is the catch and Toni may have learned to bed hiss from Biscuit. Dottie is the sweetest thing and just looks at Toni unaffected, seems like. Each had a turn with Mommy and for a long time Toni had the prime spot and Dottie was fast asleep between us. They were maybe a foot apart. Dottie has her carrier with blankes, automatic feeder and litter box. My heart hurts but she was a little ball in her carrier when I left. Every light on. Classical music blasting and Toni in the window. Lair prayers necessary!!

Looking forward to hearing how she reacts when you get home. I am sure she is enjoying plenty of nap time…it has been a big change for her and she can catch up on sleep.

Yay!!!! One less thing to worry about until you feel 100% comfortable with them together alone. Everyone seems happy :)

I was too tired to ask last night when I got home. Once Dottie was left free, she and Toni ran the length of the house together. Together opposite sniffed different ends of each other and finally sat together on hubby’s lap after being fed.
Of course, that didn’t stop Toni from hissing at Dottie in the bed and shewas very accommodating. She actually stayed in the middle of the bed so that Toni could be up by the top of me, but Toni only availed herself of it a couple of either minutes or hours. I was too gone to figure it out.
So we’re making steps. It’s only three days and a bit. So I think that’s pretty fantastic.
Off work while they sleep.

Oh yes, except for the sweaters and sweatpants that somebody knocked down from the top of my dresser, sometime I guess between crate exit and bed time last night. I don’t know who is the culprit. Toni hasn’t jumped up there in years. But she hasn’t had a sister trapped in a cage before. Lol
