Hi everyone. We brought home our almost 6 month old Sphynx kitten last night. We have two 4 month old fur kittens now. How long will it take for them to accept her? How long will it take for her to adjust to us? I’m so afraid she won’t like us especially since we have her in her own space (in the bathroom) right now to decompress so she’s all alone. Than you fellow nakey cat parents

Congratulations!!!! I wish there was a magic number to give you. We once rescued a Sphinx kitten when she was 6 months old…I think she was terrorized by a toddler in her first home. I could sense a lot of chaos was in her first home. It took a few weeks for her to feel her way, but I remember vividly the day (after we had her 6 months) that she jumped up on the table and walked back and forth rubbing against hubby’s and my faces. It was a magical moment. Know some adjust within just a few days, especially when they are younger, so just be patient. Hoping you keep us updated. @kmsmith17 ,congrats and love to see pic and name as well as of your fur kittens. the link shared above helpful. I do a "kitty safe" room set up with newbies in the bathroom . always recommend wellness check before intros. you can bring a stool sample too.

I do super slow intros. and rotate free roaming area and put resident cats in the"kitty safe rooom" for a few minutes to get used to new kitty smell and vice versa. My Batman was a little shyer and stayed in the kitty room even with the door open and then he ventured on his own to explore while I put up the other kitties. lots of great tips on the link shared. hugs n head smooches, keep us updated

Congratulations with your new baby!
As long as you sit with her often and playing with her, she will be fine in the bathroom.
Most of the times kittens get along with eachother really fast. But take it slow and see how they react on eachother

Congratulations on your new addition!! It varies cat to cat. Some are more inquisitive and just roll with it others are a little slower to adjust. Just give it some time and play with her and slow intros with the others. Kittens are usually pretty resilient and easy to introduce to one another. Keep us updated on her progress
