Hi ever'buddy!!! Cleopatra here!!! So this morning mommy an' me got up reaaaaally early!! It was 3 in th' morning!!!:Worn-out: So we got up an' mommy fed us some stinky tuna an' she went to read th' paper (I dunno why she reads paper-I like to tear it up with my sharpie claws an' teethies!!!) I waz bored so's I went inna hall baffroom to play wif my potty box!! Then I jumped onna toilet lid an' there was a LOUD NOISE an' the lid fell offa toilet an' onna bafftub!!!!! Mommy lookied an' said, "what did u do?!?!?!" Then she putted it back onna toilet!!!

I BROKE THE TOILET (lid) TODAY!!! WHATTA FUN DAY!!!! WHEEEEEEEEE!!!

Me too...I even asked our son if he knew what happened because I found it difficult to believe that a 10-pound cat can do that. But he denies doing it, and I DID hear it break, so little Miss Destruction Kitty really did the deed! Her trail of destruction continues....

Well--not totally fixable. Our soft-close toilet lid now slams down like any other lid.

And, @NinaGato, yes this is exactly what happens when my Sphynxie wakes up too early. But this was extraordinary even for Destructo-kitty!

Yes I did see the funny side of it. I told my high school students and colleagues about it today. We have decided that one of Cleo's missions in life is to provide me with unbelievable stories! On school days Cleo and I get up at 4 am. So getting up at 3 wasn't quite as bad as it could be. But Cleo made it clear that her mischief increases exponentially the earlier she gets up in the morning.
