I did it... I sold my Harley Street Glide today.. Metal and Memories

well, it was bittersweet today. I sold my Harley "Raven" after 21 yrs of riding her and my previous sportster 883

I just renewed the tags in April.. was not expecting to sell it. And Then :

My mom fell in her house a few weeks ago.I found her on the den floor. (she is okay ! ) got xrays tests etc. it's her bad diabetic neuropathy.

So, in that moment decided family first , and put my bike for sale.

Today, first time looker bought it for asking price.
a Brand new motorcycle license he got last week! and was riding it home today 2 hrs away and suspected thunderstorms, hopeful safe miles. smiles

I am sure it was bittersweet. I do have to say congrats on the quick sale and getting what you asked for it.

Can imagine it was a bittersweet moment seeing Harley Raven driving away!

@Toa and Ross , it was heartfelt ... he gave me a hug and put on his full helmet, gloves, and leather jacket. he said he bought it for a graduation present for himself after getting his pilot's license. ( figure he will flip it/sell in time , but for now..
He proudly posted a pic of it as his cover photo . )

It felt strange seeing it with someone in the saddle riding off.
