Definitely normal. I felt like I was going to cry and maybe vomit the day of picking up Orpheus. All out of excitement and nerves but it is so worth it! So excited for you

Oooooh that's so exciting. Completly normal to be giddy. I was super nervous on the two gotcha day's. Felt butterflies in my tummy and couldn't sit still for one second

I agree, it is very normal. Especially those last couple of days you can’t think about anything but getting the kitten lol.

Any advice on making his first day home smooth ? Like introduce him to his litter box ? Where his food is ? My almost 2 yr old will be with me (he's sweet to animals and def will be watching him) we also have a small dog (terrier breed, size of a large cat) do I wait to introduce them ?? I just don't want him to feel stressed is all.

Coming home went great. My daughter yoda was a little rough with them at first bit he's only 8 months old himself. My dog, a mini American eskimo just loves them. My 3 legged girl daisy is very mad at me rigjt now. I have 4 litter boxes all in different rooms and so far so good. Letty cried the 2nd night and i took her to the letter box one more time and she went . I have them sleep with me in my room until they are bigger . Im sure daisy will come around in a few weeks.
