Well Shortly after Hairry passed I knew life at our house wasn't the same. This have been very quiet less three pets (Hairry and the two dogs). Sophie and Fuzzy have become play mates and Curly is happy Fuzzy is leaving her alone. Both Curly and Fuzzy started sleeping with me at the same time the first night Hairry was gone (Hairry was a Momma's boy and would run them off).
So I knew I would be getting another nakid just didn't know how or when and I have posted a few times that I was just leaving up to fate. Well I think fate happened! I set out emailing breeders and put out the feelers that I wanted a blue baby and would like yellow eye (I wanted one that looked NOTHING like Hairry). I got a few replies that were WAY out of my price range but knew it would take months and I was more than willing for the right one. I stumbled across a add for a rescue/re-home yesterday and after reading the info clicked on the pic.... HOLY CRAP he looked EXACTLY like Hairry! I closed the add in tears and went about my business thus something was making me go back to the add a few times until it finally clicked... This was it this was the sign.. He was something I was SO not looking for but after talking to the owner knew it was meant to be. His name is Diesel and he is about a 6.5 hour drive away in NC (one way) but that is ok. What is 6.5 hours for a life time of love. I showed my Hubby (who is still upset about Hairry) and my daughter. They both replied "if that is what you want to do" . I talked to the lady who has him all evening asking questions and filling her in on my babies and the loss of Hairry. I will be Diesel's t3rd and final home. I am planning on driving up to NC tomorrow after work and staying at a hotel then drive back home Sat morning.
