Hi everyone and a belated Merry Christmas to all!

I've spent the past week in Durango, Colorado celebrating the holidays with my father. It's been fabulous, but I'm ready to get home to my boys: I miss them TERRIBLY! Problem is, there's a big ol' blizzard moving in to Cleveland today, so it looks like I may get stuck in Denver for god knows how long (hopefully no longer than 24 hours...) The added suck here is that Denver is 8 hours from my dad, so it's not like I get to spend more time with him.

Any thoughts of me getting home safely to my boys, preferably tonight, are appreciated.

It's pretty pathetic how badly I want to get home to them :(

Oh Noooo...I'm so sorry Kristi!!!! I know how much you want to see your 2 babies :Sad:

What time is the storm suposed to hit? Have you called the airport to see about moving your flight to an earlier time? Flying is the only thing I can honestly think of due to the distance between Ohio and Colorado :Sad:

Know your boys are safe at home and will be sooo happy to see you once you make it home safe and sound!

Could you try flying into a different airport and then doing the rental car thing to Cleveland?
I know Pittsburgh International is about 2 hours from Cleveland and we're supposed to get the same storm....just hits you guys first and harder due to Lake Erie being right there.

Just read on Facebook that the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo cancelled some of today's activities!!!
Really praying you make it home to Winnie & Henry, Kristi!!!

Thanks everyone!
My flight from Durango to Denver was cancelled, so the fun has already started.
Now scheduled to get in to Cleveland at 1am.
Should continue to be an interesting day :)

Go have a big fat juicy steak at the chophouse brewery and some onion rings they are amazing, will put u in food coma and before u know it u will be home with your loved ones :)

So sorry, I hate when flights are late or cancelled. Hope you get home sonn to your boys Safe flight

I'm sorry but look at it this way rather the flights cancelled and you get home alive and safe then fly through blizzard and risk a very horrible outcome .. Hope the weather clears and you can get home soon

They were talking about Cleveland on the Houston news just now, the snow looks bad. Just know your babies are safe and sound and so are you. The snow will pass soon and you will be back in their paws soon!

I am sure you miss them horribly :( but better safe than sorry. You have all of us to entertain you in the mean time :) It is snowing here now in NY. Hoping everyone stays safe .

STHAAAAAPPPPPP You are all south of me, and I don't want any snow. None. I don't want it. NOOOOO. That was the best I could do at whining, I'm not a good whiner. But I don't want the SNOW THat IS COMING THIS WAY SHORTLY!!!!!

The understanding of my overwhelming need to get home is appreciated, as is the sympathy, well wishes, and concern for my safety!

I'm at the airport in Durango now, scheduled to fly out in 45 minutes. I have an hour layover in Denver, and then a late night flight into Cleveland. Good thing is, the storm is dying down in OH and it is actually supposed to be done snowing by 1030pm. Given my flight isn't even scheduled to land in Cleveland until 1215am, I think all this cancellation hoopla has turned out for the best. Of course I'm mentally knocking on wood as I type this!

Hopefully my next update will be that I'm home and with my guys. :)

Yes, what I really meant was, good luck flying home to be with your babies. That was my first message, if you read between my whining lines. :LOL: :Wink2: :Laugh:
