I'm so upset!

I saw a man kick a little doggie this morning. It upset me so much my stomach did a flutter and out came my breakfast. On the street. I couldn't give a care about being sick in public but I feel like a failure for not stopping what happened. The guy who did it was in his late 60's about and seemed like an overall mess of a human being. Too skinny and angry for explanation. The reason he did it was the doggie was peeing and therefore pulling against him because he was PEEING FOR HEAVENS SAKE and that made this rubbish-man mad?! Why do these people even have pets. After it happened all I could think of was what I should've done. First I wish I had a taser. I'd have tasered him but would probably go to prison for that. I've decided to get pepper spray because I need it anyway right? Just in case. So why not use it on people like him? I'm just thinking of poor dog with that man for the rest of his life. No animal deserves to be treated like that!! I'm sooooo mad!!

One thing I dont get is - Why bother going to all the effort to have and look after a pet (money wise especially) if you're just going to abuse it?! Poor little thing! Maybe we could get a team together and do a Mission Impossible style dog rescue in the middle of the night! Hope you feel better soon!

Oh Dani I'm sorry you had to see that and I am sorry that that sorry excuse of a human is given the gift of owning a precious dog I am praying for the safety of this poor puppy and pray this was a onetime incident.

People make me soo sick when they treat creatures who are only equip to give unconditional love this way. The only reason dogs bite, is because they were mistreated or trained this way. It is not in their nature to be fierce animals, through disappointment and pain they have learned this trait.

Big hugs to you, I know you are upset about not saying something, but think about this guy, he would kick an innocent dog, what might he have done to you. You didn't have any defence tools and I think you made the right choice.

Get some pepper spray, that way you can speak up and if he decides to charge you, you have something to ward him off!

That makes me sick. And furious! If you see the guy again say something like, " Aren't you the guy that kicked that poor dog the other day? Shame on you!" Get the pepper spray and let him have it if he moves an inch toward you.
But don't get hurt or arrested.

I too saw a very elderly woman slap her dog cause it was barking for excitment to see her . Made me livid but I was in the checkout queue so couldn't march my ass over there..but then again here they respect their elders a lot and I prob would of been in more trouble then her if I started telling her off

It's hard to decide whether you should speak up or not. There are too many crazies out there. I wonder if they ever did this scenario on the show "What Would You Do". I'd be curious if people do speak up. It also depends upon whose involved, and as someone here said if he kicked a dog what could he have done to you. You may be frustrated over not speaking up, but you also have to protect your own personal safety.

What a jerk, I had that happen once and I pulled my car over and started yelling at the guy, he kicked his dog so hard I was amazed the dog didn't die. I called 911 I was so upset but the guy took off because he knew I was calling. I was sick all day I hate knowing that poor dog must get kicked all the time. GRRRRRRRR

I came home and told my husband and he was like WHAT YOU GOT OUT OF YOUR CAR.. OOPS but I was so mad and then after I was shaking and so upset. I guess I should have had someone or something with me for protection. The things we do!

Ok that man need some of what he did to the puppy done to him . If you ever out with a man and you see that guy go into a restroom send your male friend in behind the guy and when guy starts to pee have your friend give him a kick in his a** and tell him to get moving. One can only hope for that to happen . You know just thinking about that guy getting a good kick in the a** is funny.
But i do feel sorry for the poor puppy to have a owner like that is sad.

I've said it many times before, and I'll keep saying it.........
Aside from animal lovers, I do love and care about animals more than I do about people. Why? Because people always prove that time and time again, they are nothing but uncaring and very cruel beings.

Animals give us unconditional love 24/7, but people just can't seem to grasp the concept. Humans kill and hurt each other in great numbers each and every day, so why should we expect them to treat animals any differently? Its sick and sad to say the least.

Animals were put on this planet for a reason. They give us such joy and happiness. They need us, and we need them. They're gifts, and we are blessed to have them in our lives.
