Thank you, Laura, for giving him a great home!!! I know you will give him nothing but all the love and attention he needs. I knew from the moment I spoke to you that you were the perfect adopter!

I didn't post anything about him on rescue me. I only posted him here. I wanted to make sure he went to a home that really loved, appreciated, and had experience with the Sphynx breed. I rescued him, but was only able to keep him for about 3 weeks since my senior Sphynx just would not adjust to having a new cat in the house. It wasn't fair to him or Ming.

Thank you for contacting me! He is settling in nicely. My first cat, Dobby, is still being a bit hissy and dominant, but they are all tolerating each other. He had his first bath here today, and he behaved very well. He sleeps a lot and isn't as active as the others, but I guess that's normal since he's 7 years older than them. He is eating well and is perfect with the litterbox. Thanks again, Whitney, for letting us be his new family!

Welcome back to the site. I agree with others, he looks like a sphynx, and actually he looks a lot like my Moses! Nice and wrinkly! Here is a picture of Moses, he and Ming could be brothers!

I know, I know... I'm a terrible Lairian! I caught up with some of your posts and was happy to see that you got Sissy after all. You're always one crazy cat lady step ahead of me! LOL!

I hope you are back now forever. I missed you a great deal.
Sissy is way better than whatever I expected. She is the most delicious and affectionate, sweet girl I've ever known. LOL

Congratulations! He is gorgeous, all serious and regal looking, I love it!
I know there are some breeders that try to make sphynx with extra wrinkly skin, maybe that's why Ming Jagger has extra wrinkles?

It's been a while since I've been on the Lair... busy holidays and such! Way back before I got Ozzy last fall, I posted a note on the rescue and adoption forum that I'd be interested in adopting a rescue Sphynx anywhere in the mid-Atlantic area. I never heard or saw anything, but last week, I got a message from Lairian @whitney_j0508 in NC that she had an 8 year old boy that needed to be rehomed. Long story short, my hubby and I picked him up yesterday! His name was Ming, but we have rechristened him "Ming Jagger" because of all the wrinkles and the whole "so ugly he's cute" thing. :)

He's not very happy right now with his new sisters and brother, but I'm sure once he settles down and gets over his upset with the changes, he will fit right in! Thanks Whitney! I already love the old guy!

awe he's so wrinkly! Great rechristening name also. So good of you to give him a forever home. I got a re homed girl and she took many months to settle in but she had come a long way. Good luck

Yeah, Ming and the others are taking longer to get used to each other, and we still have a skirmish every now and then. But they are tolerating each other pretty well. And he is such a mama's boy... demands my attention a lot. And I love it!
