He is going to be so much fun to watch while he grows up. Thank you for sharing with all of us![]()
He's quite the handful right now, LOL. He gets into EVERYTHING! I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of him on here. He provides a lot of priceless picture opportunities
He's a cutie. I was wondering, do they shed like other hairy cats?
From what I gather from the breeder, they tend to have the hair when young which comes and goes, getting thinner and thinner as they age. It's tough to tell how much he'll lose, but she said judging from the typical changes that her kittens go through, he'll likely lose it all, with the possibility of retaining some on the points. There are fully coated Peterbalds out there too, but they're fully coated from birth. Severus had an undercoat and some wiry hair has grown in for the winter now. I guess we'll see what he loses come the spring. In all actuality, I wish he'd keep his coat like this, because it really adds to his personality. Of course we wouldn't care if he lost it all either. His personality is to die for....a total mushy lap cat, until he hits his wild mode and runs around the apartment at top speed, and gets into every little nook and cranny of the place, lol.
Here's another pic from this morning that my wife sent me. I guess he likes to be either in the spotlight or on the bowl...maybe both, lol.
