Hello sphynxlair fam!

I am Moozy's catmom Aeri.

Moozy is a female calico sphynx born in Vancouver, Canada. She is 4 years old now and I am now raising her in Seoul, Korea on my own. She is a loving, food crazy, bath hating, treat crazed, momma's girl. I love her so so much. However, she has had diarrhea from the very beginning and every vet I've been to have said she is absolutely healthy and doesn't seem to know what is going on..I have tried every food out there but 4 years later, nothing has changed... I want her to live a long and healthy life but I am really scared to try raw food or don't know where to even start with that one. So I am now here at sphynxlair for some support. I hope that I could find some solace and advice from some veteran sphynx mama and pops. CYMERA_20190829_141842.jpg

Welcome….she is a beauty. I know you said you tried every food…had you had an allergy test run to see if there are any products you should eliminate from her diet?

Hi Aeri,
Have you tried those dehydrated meat instead?? Like ziwi peak? I'm not comfortable feeding raw so I'm feeding dehydrated meat for dinner with steamed pumpkin to help them be full and sleep through the night. You can try single protein with those as well.
Kibble wise I give wellness core grain free salmon and herring that is poultry free as I suspect chicken allergy for mine.
I haven been able to do that as I have another 2 around who eats the same food and 1 of them is food crazy(steals and bite through bags) and very sensitive to any food changes.
So I'm reluctant to do much food change incase I endup having 3 with diarrhoea instead of just 1.

Hi Aeri, we have a female calico sphynx called Kiwi who looks ,and sounds, very similar to Moozy. We haven't had an on going problem with her bowels but have noticed chicken can cause her to have runny stools. Think the idea of an allergy test sounds good as the other member suggested , if your vet can provide one. Good luck and hope you get it sorted out x
