It's been a while..

Hi guys! I hope everyone & their kitties are great; have been busy lately so my Lair time has been down to a bare minimum - boohoo!
Just wanted to let everyone know I'm fine and so are the boys. They got a few new goodies recently (spoiled babies :Laugh and they love 'em. I'll share a couple of videos of their first interactions with a hexbug nano (they also got the scarab but like the nano so much better) and their new Zombie Cocoon:

That's how mine lay on the cocoon too! I keep trying to get them to go in it again, but they just keep squashing it down. Love the "it's mine" type protection of it!

That's quite some hexbug action too! Lots of exercise chasing that!

They figured out the entry later, this is how they reacted when it came out of the box. I think some of the catnip sample that Rene added got rubbed off on it or something

I think it makes too much noise for them to like and everytime it hits the couch or their bed it doesn't get it and keeps hitting it over & over. The nano is a lot quieter and more "prey like" I guess, they love it when it goes under the couch; they just circle the couch until it comes out again

Cute videos. My son has a bunch of these hex bugs, so I'll have to see if mine are as interested in them as Lucifer and Samael. I like how Lucifer was standing his ground and trying not to let Samael get in the bed with him. Samael was pretty persistent though. Did he ever get a chance to try it out?

You should definitely let them have a go with your son's hexbugs!

I think it is funny how Samael seemed way more interested in the Hexbug, but when it came to the cocoon, Lucifer was totally in charge ;-) I loved watching them play
