I had to go to work last night, but it was Fluffy's turn to go to the library. I got her settled in, and then left her in the capable hands of my mom and the librarian. I saw the first book in line to be read was "A Diary of a Worm", sounded like a good choice. I couldn't stick around, but I am sure Fluffy will tell me all about it this morning!

Fluffy, you are a good helper. Are you sure she tells you all her exploites while you are at work? Wink

I'm almost positive...NOT. Seeing as my mom pulled up yesterday to follow us the library an "undisclosed" amount of time after a delivery man came to the door, and found Fluffy sitting on the hood of my car, I am QUITE certain she does not tell me all of her stories from the day. I have no idea how she got out. She is my wanderer too...I may have said some not so nice words about this lovely, kid-friendly therapy cat.

My mailman has a bad habit of opening the door when he knows I am home of just opening the door and throwing the packages in the garage door, especially if it is raining, so they don't get wet, but he doesn't always shut the door well. But 1) Hey, it's my house, stay out. 2) I DO have an alarm system (oops, I never turn it on) 3) My cats have freaky human like paws that can open ANY crack in the door and get out.

P.S. He was delivering an AWESOME book titled Be Like Water, it has not much to do with martial arts, but has to do with every day patience, it truly is an amazing book if anyone is looking for a great read.

Wow! Have you had a talk with your mailman? Glad your babies don't seem to wander far. Hope you both had a good day at work!

whoa! the hood of your car!?!? crazy. did you ever think of putting a decrorative box outside for the mail perlon to put packages into. we had a bench that if you raised up the lid it was hollow inside and we had him leave packages there if they were too large for the mailbox.

I have to work today, but I don't mind. The festivities don't start until sundown, so it's actually the day after that I want off. My husband has the day free, though, so the brats can enjoy his company. <3

Ladies work is never done. Jen, you and Fluffy, keep the hammer down.
Who makes the most money????

By the sounds of it, it might have been FLUFFY!! I called my mom briefly this AM to make some dinner plans for tonight, and I said "Oh, this is the firs5 I've spoken with you since the library, how did it go?" And she said, very enthusiastically "Great! We didn't get out of there until 8:30pm, I'll have to fill you in tonight!" . The reading program usually runs from 6:15-15pm, so I can only imagine what went on! I usually let her walk around and visit kids for about 15 min afterwards but it sounds like there is an interesting story behind this!

Can't wait to hear the library story. Diary of a Worm is a cute book--I'm sure the kids enjoyed it. I would've been really mad about the mailman leaving the door ajar so my cat got out. Glad she stayed close to home and that nobody decided to steal her.

So, apparently my mom and Fluffy had such a great time, that the librarian kiept signing up kids to read. Normally the kids are scheduled in 10 min blocks from 6:15-7:15pm. But my mom and "Fluffy" were enjoying themselves so much that Sandy , the librarian, kept running out and getting more kids, and signed them up until 8pm. So, then when my mom was leaving, everyone stopped her, like they always do to ask questions about Flffy, and they didn't get to leave the library until 8:30pm. Fluffy always draws attention while she is there! I am glad to hear my mom at least had a good time!
