It seems Graddy has a slow puberty period. By that I mean he hasn't shown any signs of being a stud or dominant. He hasn't sprayed and the initial screaming or talking I complained about has calmed down. So the reason we hadn't had him neutered was because our breeder asked if she could use him for her next litter and we would've gotten a kit for free and then neutered him but because he is being so anti-mating we have to have him sterilised soon because the females aren't in heat anymore and I don't want to wait any longer for him to start that nasty spraying.
I want to know if males act much different after being sterilised especially when they were older males (Graddy is a year and a half now)?He is already extremely affectionate and sweet and he tolerates his baths and plays (a bit much but I'm not complaining) He is perfect to me ( I am his mom though
) My husband is very sad about it and acting as if it's intentional attack on men in general *sigh* but it has to be done. Graddy is not going to hate us right and I know people say they act as though nothing has happened but really? How can a human being know that.
