Got the below from Emily who having trouble with Tapatalk - so posting her message

Hi shani, hope you are well. I can't get onto tapatalk for some reason I will try to remove it today and then readd it later. Could you let everyone know that binx and khaleesi came through the surgery fine. Khaleesi is sore as she had to have a hernia repaired at the same time so her incision is larger and underneath. She had a cone but she spent all her time trying to remove it and we were worried she would cause herself more issues so we have removed it. She is a lot happier now and managed some sleep. Binx ended up having 2 lots of sedation as the vet took the wrong throat swab - so they had to redo! Very angry about that but it's done now and he is absolutely fine this morning like nothing has been done! Hahaha
Thank you,
Emily x

Glad to hear they came through fine. Definitely try to confine to a smaller room if possible. If not do you have a friend who might have a large cage/crate to borrow for a couple of days?

This afternoon all she has done is slept thank goodness! I was beginning to think the anaesthetic had made her crazy as she was acting even more wild than usual!

So the vet said he was a little dehydrated and could see he wasn't his usual self. She gave an injection of antibiotic and some gastro medicine to see if that settles his stomach enough to eat. We are back in for a recheck tomorrow. We got home, binx drank loads of water! I was so relieved! He then went and threw the whole lot up :( I'm so worried about my binxy boy :( why does he continually get sick???? ! :(

Hmm, my Grayson won't walk normal, let alone he won't run around if I put clothing on him. Possibly that will work for you?

Why didn't your vet give Binx IV fluids under his skin if she said he was dehydrated?

I was thinking that he was vomiting from the double dose of anesthesia. Poor little boy.

What's going on? Is he all better now? I hope that just a shot of Pepcid does the trick and he can come home and be Binxy again.

Sorry I did a new thread asking for prayers and positive thoughts. Long story short he's on his second night stay. He started eating today and finally went for a wee at 8am! He hopefully can come home tomorrow. He is still on iv fluids. They think he was run down from his previous illness and the surgery reacted badly with him :( thanks for asking

Aww, OMG, poor Binx and poor Emily. Haven't you all been through enough already?
Nothing but positive thoughts and prayers sent your way.
