I really hope khaleesi gets well soon and you get some answers to what's causing her sickness and lack of appetite, poor girl, sending healing vibes your way

Waiting to go in, khaleesi is not happy at all! She can hear a big dog barking and she is not impressed

Khaleesi has been taken in for iv fluids, blood work, ultrasound and iv medication. She may have an xray if inconclusive - hopefully not as she would need an anaesthetic they are testing for pancreatitis amongst the usual blood works. I'm hoping it's not that as coupled with her IBD it could turn into triaditis

This waiting is driving me crazy!! It's 1:20 here and they said to ring back at 40. I don't want to feel like I'm harassing them but I need to know how my baby is

Hubby just rang and they are doing their ward round - they said results of bloods should be available within the hour so I'll ring then

Ok so her blood work and back ok - dehydrated - but she is on iv meds and fluids so that should fix that. It's not pancreatitis which is a relief!! Most likely exacerbation of her IBD

Thankyou she is apparently looking a little brighter since the iv fluids. I'm going to take her a pouch of her gastro food down tonight - hopefully she may take a nibble they said her tummy needed a rest all day so her meds are all iv - she hasn't vomitted since being at the vets which is good. Diarrhoea still continues.....

I hope she feels well soon and can go home. Poor baby. I hope the vet finds out what is going on for real this time. She has had enough I'm sure.

The vet said she hasn't vomited or had diarrhoea overnight- good news. They said she is being 'demanding' this morning though! Lol they were going to feed her but she isn't urinating even though she has a full bladder. They are giving her an ultrasound to see if she needs a catheter if so they can't feed her because she'll need an anaesthetic . Binx has also stopped eating he vomited 4 times now so I've booked him in for 11:45

Thankyou patti, I have no idea what is going on! I just pray none of the others get this as not only is this crippling me emotionally, financially it's a huge strain. I managed to get binx to eat a small amount - which he promptly threw back up! Poor boy, he really has had everything going!

So many have multiple babies on here it can be hard to remember. Did they do a fecal sample on khaleesi recently? If not bring some fresh from the box of Binx and inquire.

Khaleesi has 3 days faecal sample currently away being tested ( can take up to a week!) binx has formed poop so not sure they'd test that?

Khaleesi is staying another night. She still hasn't peeed - her ultrasound looked normal - they may anaesthetise her later and catheterise if she doesn't pee soon. At the same time they will take a biopsy of her bowel. This is for an official diagnosis of her IBD - then depending on those results they may decide on steroid treatment. Good news is that she has held down some breakfast for an hour so far
